Healthier Me, Better Body

I’m finally finishing up my second semester at the university here in my hometown! For as long as I can remember, I have been a very active person. Growing up I was in sports for the church I went to and in middle school and high school I was in sports. So you can see, I was always working out. However, this semester was the busiest semester I’ve ever had at school. I was rushing a sorority, working on getting inducted into an honors society “The National Society of Leadership and Success”, taking 12 hours of classes, and working part time. Last semester, I was able to take time out during my break in between classes and work out, but this semester I just wasn’t able to do it. I never wanted to be one of those people who said “I’m too busy to take time out of my day to go to the gym” but I became that person this semester. I was literally running around everywhere, trying to meet deadlines, get assignments turned in on time, making time for my boyfriend and family! There is literally not enough time in the day for everything I had to get done!
Now that the semester is finally ending on Friday, I’ve decided to take change my lifestyle up. I don’t want to be too busy to workout, I love my body and I need to make time for myself and show love and appreciation to it as much as I can, while I’m still young. So I decided to get a Gold’s Gym membership and start working out with my boyfriend. My boyfriend, is very passionate about fitness and his body and he is the perfect person to workout with because he pushes me and motivates me on everything I do, so of course he would be completely supportive and help me in my fitness journey! Since last Friday, May 1st, we’ve been working out pretty much every week night and take the weekends off for our bodies to rest. I heard that it takes 21 days for something to be a habit and I am very determined to make working out a habit again in my life. These are my before pictures. Along with posts about fashion, I will also share pictures with you all on my fitness journey
