Saturday Outfit of the Day

Hi Loves!

Today I finally was able to wear one of my favorite skirts that I bought from Posh Square. I bought this skirt a few months ago and I just haven’t worn it yet because I hadn’t found a perfect top to wear with it. However, I went to Charlotte Russe for their 40% off sale going on this weekend and found this off the shoulder black and white stripe crop top. I love how off the shoulder tops look with midi skirts so I went ahead and bought it to try it out. I ended up loving how it! Since the outfit was mostly black I decided to add a pop of color and wear my hot pink heels from Go Jane. For my accessories I wore a blingy necklace from Charlotte Russe and then a black hair bow in my hair from Forever 21.

I got so many compliments today from my boss, coworkers and strangers saying I looked very Sex in the City which was a great compliment!

I hope you all enjoyed this outfit and it will bring you inspiration on how to pair midi skirts!

Monday outfit of the day

IMG_7968Yesterday for my outfit of the day I wore my favorite hi-low tie dye shirt from Altar’d State (Instagram: Altardstate). Last time I wore this top was during Fiesta here in San Antonio which is basically a big party in San Antonio for a week long with a bunch of different events to celebrate our culture such as parades and parties. I hadn’t had the top for that long so I paired it with white distressed denim and sandals from love culture. This time, since I’ve had this top for much longer I was able to play with it more and dress it up more today than I had when I had first worn it.

Yesterday, I decided to wear the hi-low top with a black body-con skirt from Charlotte Russe. In my opinion a black skirt whether its a body-con or skater, I feel is a necessity in any woman’s closet just like a little black dress. I liked how the hi-low top looked with the skirt because the top stopped around my waist so you were able to see the skirt from the front and the back looked like I had a tail from the low part of the top. I added gold necklaces that ranged in lengths to go with this outfit and lastly ended with black booties from Go Jane. I included my outfit from last time and my outfit from yesterday so you all could see how the top looked styled two different ways.

Outfit and makeup of the day

Good evening loves! Sorry I am posting so late, today was my day off so I took the time to rest and enjoy my day! Today I went out to lunch with one of my best friends and then spent the day at the pool before the storm came.

I am a big fan of kimonos and bold colors so today I decided to wear my kimono that I got from Francesca’s and paired it with loose fitting shorts from Charlotte Russe and a crop top also from Charlotte Russe. I felt like an all black outfit was good to wear under this kimono because there are a lot of blues and purples already on the kimono which add color. I paired it with black booties that I got from Go Jane. For the accessories I decided to add a pop of color so I went with jewelry from Kendra Scott and threw on a straw hat that I had laying around in my room! This outfit was perfect for today since it was rainy because the kimono and hat protected me from the rain.

For my makeup of the day I did my usual makeup routine and used my bronzer/ blush duo from Nars Cosmetics and then added my new NYX intense butter gloss to complete my look.
